another week... and no steaknshake

Well it's been another week

This one started out fairly well... with watching Serenity at Becky's house ... the week before we were supposed to watch Serenity... but it was missing from wal*mart... we even dug in the 5$ bin... but no Serenity... so i bought The Dark Crystal, because anything Jim Henson did was awsome... and I subjected a room full of people to a late night showing of Dark Crystal... but unfortuantly I must be the only person who thinks this movie is awesome and everybody else was left puzzled and dissatisfied by the movie... I still say it is one of the best movies ever and I like it better than Labrinth (which is also an awsome movie) because i like that it is completely done with muppets with no human actors... at any rate i digress. We watched Serenity on monday night and that was awesome..and more people were happy with the movie.

monday night after i got home... i started feeling pretty bad

tuesday night I had a fever and a cold... and so i stayed home and watched The Ultimate Avengers I and II

wednesday night i was almost over feeling bad.. but i still had something of a cold so i didn't go play volleyball so i stayed home and watched Jabberwocky ... I love gilliam films... I wish Terry Gilliam had directed Hitchhiker's Guide.


thursday night i was feeling really good again. That night being Natura night.. we went to natura for cards and live original music and questionable comedy acts... I enjoyed myself much and turned a lot of dollar bills into pictures of skeletons and other fancy things. I played Rummy to 300 with Jade, DJ and Jenson... and was whipped soundly by Jade, though I did come from behind and managed second place.
Then we left.. and we courageously avoided going to Steak n shake

On friday i went to the doctor... this time I had my insurance card.. so they decided to check and see if i was dieing of anything... I guess i'm not so they let me go... and i went to eat sushi at bukkuri sushi ... it was very good sushi.. and about that time Chad came into town.. so he met us at bukkuri and we all ate sushi... I got a single roll .. but then two rolls chad got was actually cheaper because he got the lunch special... oh well. Then we walked around and i went into a art shop to see if i could find better pens to deface money.. but i couldn't ... so off we went back to my house. Then we went to aguille and climbed on the wall. I actually got to the top of the 5.11 wall i'v been trying to climb for a while.. but it wasnt clean because i fell off 3 holds from the top again.. but this time i got back on and actually made it to the top when usually i'm too worn out by that point.

Saturday was good too. Ann got to the house in the morning and ann and me and chad went to the bookstudy at jimmy's house. then we ate at denny's .. because all me and chad ate the day before was a couple rolls of sushi... sushi is surprisingly filling.
I ordered a carrafe of orangejuice .. because denny's is the only place you can do this.. and i drank almost all of it.. even though it is supposed to be "family sized" ... i spent alot on orange juice. Then we went to Target and got a cookiesncream cake from the bakery and went off to the congregation picnic.. there was much fun at the picnic.. with throwing footballs and eating nick's cheesecakes. Then we went to aguille again.. chad belayed ann and she got up a few walls.. very good ann. and i did a few walls in a row and wore out my arms.chad left then to go home. Then me and jimmy and danny and ann went to Danielle's house and played pool with abunch of other people there. then we went home and ann went home and i went to sleep.

a week at steaknshake

i spent a week at steaknshake .. well not exactly a week ... but i was there past midnight every night since thursday

thursday we went there after going to natura till 11ish... jade and dj and jake and chelsea and arielle and nick and me ....

and i had some sort of shake and cheesefries and a burger

then friday... after we played volleyball and tennis in the rain.. there was more steak and shake... with a simular group... though we had alot more people as well... it was much fun

then on saturday after the party at jake's house.. we took over that back section of steak and shake with more than thirty people

then again on sunday after the party attony's house.. we had jade and jimmy and dj and jake and me and nick

I think overall.. we've kept steaknshake open this week... but being the only place open past midnight for eating.. well except dennys and house of waffles and international pancake imporium....hmm well i guess there are other places.. i guess people just really like shakes

It's A blog entry... as if i were some sort of... daily bloggerman

Yesterday was alot of fun.

I started the day by barely making it to a Dr's Appointment that mom made for me I guess so that they can see if I'm dieing of something, I dont feel like I'm dieing of anything.. but you can't be too careful I suppose. At any rate, because we don't live in canada and I can't find my insurance card... I just filled out my info and left. So I guess i'll just have to wait till two weeks from now to see if i'm dieing of anything... if i can find my insurance card

That wasnt the fun part of yesterday though.. it was i suppose the mildly annoying part of yesterday.

After that I wandered around the mall for a few hours and ate the worst food in the american diet... cheese-fries with bacon... Mostly to give the doctor something to find later on. He will be sullen if he doesn't get to do at least one bypass operation on me i'm sure.

that was sort of fun... except for the fatty foods thing... I'v been getting fat so all i eat at work now is plain tuna almost every day... i like the tuna to be as low quality and nasty looking as possible... mostly because high quality tuna is dry and tasteless... don't get me started on white albacore... so i get bumblebee chunk-light tuna in water.. which i have deemed the cheapest, lowest quality tuna.. and therefore the best tasting. though there is also walmart brand tuna...but .. it frightens me. I keep a stack of bumble bee tuna on my desk that is 10ish cans high at the beginning of the week and i eat that. People think it's a strange thing to keep on one's desk... but i find canned fish aesthetically pleasing

At any rate I then went home and took a nap

which was sort of fun in a napping sort of way

After that me and danny and dustin went down to aiguille to do some rock climbing.
Everybody should get a membership to aiguille it is most fun and great exercise... thought i think it gives me random pains in my arms... but i can tell it's increasing my endurance as when we started there I would be exhausted after three or so walls and now after going there twice a week for the last couple months i can do 6 or 7 and not even be tired when I leave.

At aiguille I started on one of the really hard ones that I knew i was going to fail... though i ended up almost making it and was only 2 handholds from the top when my fingertips gave out and i failed at it for the third time in the last weekish

but i climbed some other trails and did some bouldering with mixed sucess. Dustin rocks the bouldering so i mostly do the trails he has figured out already

we stayed there for 3 hours

That was the first fun bit

then we went out to Fiddler's green with Adam, alexandra, melissa, merium, danny, dustin, jenson, melissa's twin and her twin's boyfriend who's names escape me because I am terrible at names, and a guy from adams work, wesley,two other people who's names i should know, eric and jenny ... man we had alot of people at that table

I started with a guiness .. even though I dispise beer... but a guiness.. though it is touted as the beer lovers beer.. is the only one i can stomach.

and we listened to an irishman play irish music on the guitar and we sang loudly when we knew the parts... danny just got back from irland.. and he went to a few pubs there.. but apparently the best irish pub is found in orlando florida .. because everybody was singing and boisterous with the songs here and in ireland nobody sang... eventhough the music was much better there

we also raised a hullaballoo ourselves with a rousing rendition of drunken sailor that got everybody in the room clapping with us and cheering at the end.

overall, a very lovely night at the pub

then me and merium and melissa and the as before unamed twin and boe went out for foodstuff at denny's where i mostly listened and stared at people as i am wan to do .. and they talked about puertorico and the food and college there and then we went home

so that was all very fun

and then i fell asleep.. because it was 330 am

Another thursday at Natura

More coffee drinks, cards and music at Natura.

Rummy just wouldn't be the same without a noisy cafe and live music. It's definitely an important part of the game. And this time Ariel didn't whoop up on us. ah ha .. I think danny won.


Everybody's gone.. but the comedy guy that looks like Whoopie Goldberg is up now being randomly insulting. Its almost sad but slightly funny just because hes so strange sounding. I think he's funnier just for the fact that I cant stop thinking about how much he looks like whoopie

Maybe next week I'll sign up to do some poetry or something
